Illinois is in a state of emergency. Our taxes are forcing the most productive of us to leave the state.

There is so much going on and I realize I need to communicate with you, the constituents of McHenry County Board District 1, much more often.  I continue to fight the good fight and maintain my campaign promises to you.

Recently, there has been a lot of talk about people leaving McHenry County and Illinois.  On the county board, we will have a commission to study this problem.  However, to most of you who read this you already know.

Our taxes are just too high.  Sadly, there are many county board members who feel we are not taxed too high.

They simply think the reason is [FILL IN THE BLANK HERE].  The reason is that because of our bloated bureaucracy here in Illinois job creators cannot create and job innovators cannot innovate.  So what do they do?  They Move.  Watch this CBS report below.

Its going to be a long summer and I am down two… but we will make it happen.  I hope all of you watch the video and share it with your friends, family, and neighbors on twitter, facebook, and email.

I need you – I cannot do this alone.
